Thanks for visiting us online. If you have a moment, we’d like to tell you a bit about Back Bay Hardware. Formerly known as Parks True Value, we have been serving the Back Bay since 1943. Back Bay Hardware is an independently owned and operated member of the True Value cooperative.

Parks Paint and Hardware was located in several places on Huntington Avenue until it moved to its current location on Newbury Street in 1979.

Lex Stevens joined Parks True Value as a manager in 1995. He purchased the business in 2004. In 2010, it was re-christened Back Bay Hardware. The knowledgeable and friendly staff at Back Bay Hardware pride themselves in helping you solve life’s little problems.

If being surrounded by salons and boutiques doesn’t set us apart, our service does. The Back Bay Sun took notice of our influence in the neighborhood and published a feature on our longest-standing manager, Eric Chudnoff.
