Return & Exchange Policy

Due to the increasing cost of doing business, we are no longer able to sustain our liberal return practices.

Please allow our trained and knowledgable staff to help you determine the proper product for all your needs.

All merchandise purchased after August 27, 2008 must meet the following criteria in order to be returned or exchanged:

All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by the sales receipt within thirty (30) days of purchase.

Cash purchases will receive cash refunds. Credit Card and Debit Card purchases must be refunded to the same card used at the time of purchase. The card must be present for the refund to be issued.

All merchandise must be in unopened and undamaged packaging.

Hand tools and power tools will be accepted for exchange only.

Door knob locksets, dead bolts, night latches and all other lock sets cannot be returned or exchanged after the packaging has been opened.

Defective merchandise will be replaced or refunded within the manufacturer's guidelines.

Referrals and Services

If we do not have the products that you need, we will gladly direct you to other companies in the area that may have what you are seeking. We are not able to guarantee that those companies will have the products that you need, nor are we able to assure you of the quality of service that you will receive.

Even though we have many customers who are contractors, tradesmen, handymen and other service professionals, we are unable to make referrals because we know these people only as our customers. We have no way of knowing the quality of their work or their reliablility. It is generally accepted to seek the help of friends, neighbors and rating services when searching for services professionals, and to thoroughly check the references provided by those who you are considering for employment.

Parks True Value/Back Bay Hardware is a retail hardware store only. We do not provide or sell any off-site services.
